Bark ‘N Lounge is a climate controlled facility specifically designed for your pet’s safety and comfort. Our large indoor play areas have rubber flooring and we have 3 outdoor play yards to insure your dog gets plenty of exercise.  Visit our photo gallery.

Social dogs can spend their day playing with other dogs before returning to their private suites complete with soft bedding and piped-in music.  Studies have shown that classical music has a calming effect on dogs.  If your dog doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs, he/she will be given multiple individual exercise/potty breaks at no additional charge.

Features of Bark 'N Lounge

• We offer private indoor suites with solid walls.

• For dogs that aren't able to join group play, they will be given a potty/exercise break at least 4 times per day at no additional cost.

• We keep pets on their regular diet.  Sudden changes in diet and a new environment may cause soft stools, vomiting, or diarrhea.  Please remember to bring your pet's food with feeding instructions. If your pet runs out of food during their stay, there will be a $2.00 charge per day per pet.

• We administer medications at no additional cost.  Please remember to bring your pet's medication with dosage instructions.

Safety Measures - Facility Design

• Safe Yards - Our outdoor play yard has a 6 ft wrought-iron fence with additional fencing around the bottom 4 ft to prevent escape.

• Safe Flooring - Our rubber flooring is easier on your dog's joints than concrete and helps to cushion and prevent falls during play.

• Clean Suites - Each suite has solid, non-porous walls which are sealed to the floor to prohibit the growth of disease-causing bacteria.

• Clean Air - Our facility has a custom HVAC system that continuously exchanges the inside air with fresh air from outside.  This is an extra measure we've taken to maintain a clean and healthy facility free from bacteria and odor.

• Temperature Control - Our facility is monitored 24 hours a day for temperature changes.  The system automatically dials the owner and staff to alert us if the indoor temperature goes above or below a pre-set level.  This insures your pet is always comfortable, even overnight.

• Fire protection - Our facility has a fire alarm and heat sensor that automatically dispatches the Keller Fire Department in the event of smoke or heat detection.

Safety Measures - Policies

• Our boarding requirements insure only healthy pets are accepted.

• All dogs must remain non-aggressive to join group play.

• Play groups are separated by size and play style as needed.

• Play groups are supervised at all times by trained staff.

Boarding Requirements

"An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure."

• Dogs must be at least 10 weeks old. 

• Male pets over 6 months old must be neutered.

• Females that are not spayed are permitted as long as they are not in heat at the time of their stay.

• Proof of current vaccinations; Dogs must be current on DHPP and Rabies, plus Bordetella every 6 months. (Dogs under 16 weeks must have at least two rounds of DHPP vaccinations, and one dose of Bordetella.)  If your dog hasn't had a Bordetella vaccination in over 12 months, it must be given at least 7 days prior to check-in.  If your veterinarian has recommended other vaccination protocols for your pet for health reasons, we will accept a letter from your veterinarian or titers.

• Dogs must wear a KeepSafe Break-A-Way collar or no collar at all during their stay for safety reasons.  These collars can be purchased at Bark 'N Lounge.

• All pets must be in good health and free from communicable disease for the previous 30 days.

• Pets that have been in a shelter are not allowed in the facility until they have been in a home for 30 days.  This is to prevent the spread of communicable disease that may not have surfaced.  Many canine diseases are common in shelters and can spread quickly although symptoms may not appear for up to 30 days.

• All pets must be free of all parasites including fleas and ticks.  If your pet has fleas and ticks at time of check-in, they must be treated at owner's expense and/or may be turned away.

• To participate in group play, dogs must be non-aggressive.  Inappropriate behavior could result in loss of group play privileges at any time. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to, resource guarding, bullying, growling, biting, fighting, or excessive barking and whining that may indicate stress or anxiety.

Boarding Rates

Our boarding rates are all-inclusive.  There are NO additional fees for feeding, medication, potty breaks, exercise/playtime, or daycare.

Single Occupancy  $38/Night 

Double Occupancy $65/Night ($38 for the 1st dog and $27 for the 2nd dog)

Check-out's after 12 PM and on Sundays are charged a late check-out fee equal to the daily daycare rates.

Please ask for rates if you have more than two dogs sharing a suite.

Holiday Rate - There is a $5 surcharge per night and per pet on holidays.
